The screening room “Villotti Group” of PalaTrento hosted the meeting between the medias and the coach of Diatec Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti this afternoon. The forthcoming home match of SuperLega against Cucine Lube Civitanova which is the defending champion, was the theme of the conference. “It will be a wonderful match –explained the yellow-blue coach – we’ve won nine matches in a row but at the same time we know that what we did is not enough if we want to win in this case: we’ll need to raise the level of our performance to compete against a strong team like Civitanova. Without De Pandis our team won’t be complete because during the last months he showed why he was among the best players during the last season and he could have helped us against a team which has a very strong service. At the same time we can offer a significative opportunity to Matteo Chiappa in the libero role; he must live this opportunity with calm because he has expert team-mates next to him and they are ready to help him. Having played the Mondiale per Club, Lube improved a lot as regards both the side-out and the break phase; ther is still a gap between the two teams, therefore we should take advantage of the opportunities that we will have and uninterruptedly propose our game. If we want to mark a turning point in our regular season we must keep our results high, not only in the home matches but also in the away ones where we must raise our personality. The rehabilitation of Kovacevic proceeds well; Uros is training with the team, it is clear that his technic isn’t as good as that of his team-mates because he has less training behind. Juantorena? I hope he will play because I want to play against the opponents in the best way and also because he deserves to be back in field at the PalaTrento for all he did for Trentino Volley. If he does not get it I believe that Civitanova has a very good team that can face the absence of any regular player.
