Tine Urnaut spikes against Civitanova block

Krakow (Poland), April 16th, 2016

After Prague, Lodz and Bolzano the extraordinary continental epic of Trentino Volley in CEV Champions League is enriched by another step to remember. It is the one of Krakow, the Polish city, where on Sunday evening at 6.00 pm the Company Champion of Italy will play its fourth final of the maximum continental trophy ever, facing coincidentally Zenit Kazan with which in Bolzano competed (and won) on the last final act of its history (3-1 victory on March 27th, 2011).
Trentino Diatec has secured this new appointment with the glory surpassing surprisingly but deservedly Cucine Lube Civitanova in the Italian derby staged at the Tauron Arena in the second semifinal of the Final Four. As it happened in Assago two months ago during the Italian Cup and before in Prague in 2009, Stoytchev’s team was able to completely reverse the prediction of the eve imposing itself with a very clear score (3-0) that marks well the big gap emerged between the two teams during the match.
The formation from Trentino suffered only in the start, going down 3-8 in the first set; once that the right concentration was found, after the first technical time out, it became the absolute mistress of the field leaving no escape to their opponents. Cucine Lube has been overwhelmed by the tricolor which showed, in front of over ten thousand people, a high quality side-out, that was followed during the break a block and a defense that offered many opportunities for Urnaut, Djuric (67%!) and Antonov (56%). The best you could ask to start again with the right moral point of view after the ko with Modena in the playoffs and to get closer to the final tomorrow with justified hopes of victory.
