Just a morning off, to celebrate the return at the fourth place in ranking in SuperLega and to recover some energies before resuming the trainings again. After the 3-1 victory in the Adige Derby on Sunday in Verona, Diatec Trentino has in fact returned to work already during today early afternoon at PalaTrento to prepare the long Pugliese away travel which will start already at midday on Tuesday January 23rd.  After a 90 minutes training session on the central field this morning, the yellow-blue team will in fact leave for Puglia, where it will stay at least until Sunday January 28th. The calendar of the final part of the first month of 2018 has in fact scheduled two official matches in a row at PalaFlorio in Bari: on Wednesday 24th at 8.30 p.m. for the recover match of the seventeenth day of SuperLega versus BCC Castellana Grotte (which plays its home matches in this stadium) and then on Saturday 27th at 6 p.m. versus Sir Safety Conad Perugia in the second semi-final match of Del Monte® Coppa Italia. The aim for Angelo Lorenzetti’s team is obviously the one to play, already the day next, the third match in five days at PalaFlorio. After the match versus Castellana Grotte, Diatec Trentino will in fact remain in Bari and prepare there the match which is worth a place in the final match of the biggest national trophy.
The group that will take part to the trip in Puglia, which will include the eleventh Final Four of Coppa Italia of the history of the Club of via Trener, will see the whole roster of thirteen players and the whole technical, medical and managerial staff; Daniele De Pandis as well (who was not available in the last matches due to a recent surgery to the meniscus of the right knee) will leave with the group, which will arrive in Bari already on Tuesday evening, after a transfer by coach to Bologna and the following flight to Puglia.
