The usual session of training in the swimming pool of Saturday morning in the Sporting Centre Trento Nord in Gardolo, has closed the third week of preparation of Trentino Volley for the season 2017/2018. After doing ten sessions in six days, Diatec Trentino is allowed to have one and a half days off before coming back to work on Monday morning in PalaTrento.
"Our players are very committed while working in the gym" said the coach Angelo Lorenzetti, “They're following to the letter everything the stuff says and they're proceeding in the best way they can with the program they're asked to follow, most of all from a physical point of view. As far as it concerns the technical- tactical work, on the other hand, we need to consider the fact that for now we don't have many regulars of the new shortlist and so we're not free to develop our play, but we already knew that. Anyway the team's attitude is the right one. We know that's a period of waiting, in which there's isn't any friendly match scheduled, but we're doing well, knowing that when the many players that are now busy in the National team come back to Trento, they will need to find us ready”.
“This first part of preparation can be considered a studying part” said the technician of Diatec Trentino, “ Almost all the players with which we're training are new, so we have to get to know better their characteristics, even if their identikit will only be complete in the future. But the willingness to know each other and to be at the disposal of the team has been demonstated and this is a great start. The next week we'll make a new step, both physically and technically, by adding some now concepts and most of all welcoming one more player, the Estonian opposite Teppan, that will join the team in a few days”.
