Palazzo Geremia in Trento has announced the first official act of union between Trentino Volley and Angelo Lorenzetti . The new coach was officially presented at the historical site of the City, in front of many journalists, insiders but also of so many fans, who did not want to miss the opportunity to hear live the first words as Diatec trentino coach of the fifty-two year old from Marche.
"As a former opponent I have been welcomed very well, thank you everybody, I am happy” - said Lorenzetti -. “This was for me an opportunity to be seized; I am a lucky person and coach because they do not always creates the possibility of finding a new job so quickly and in such an important environment, competitive, professional as that of Trento. I will work from today to do my best and make sure that this company remains always the protagonist. The opportunity to sit on the bench of Trentino Volley is born long after the end of the season: the contact was recent and the agreement was found quickly. Although it is only the beginning of July, the roster of the team for next season is practically already outlined; we are of course at the window but I think the character of the group is already quite clear. I will try to bring my own style, which is oriented as the first action to be helpful to the players and to listen to them, so as to quickly find a good feeling. I am very pleased that this club has worked on and can still work well with young people and invest in the youth sector; one of my tasks will also be to monitor all players who Trentino Volley has grown in its nurseries and that is maturing around Italy in Championships Super League and Serie A2. It would be nice to be able to add in this squad more players who has grown at home, we will work for that too.""
“Lorenzetti in Trento will collect an important legacy” - said the President Diego Mosna -; “with his arrival we want to give a signal of renewal and innovation, progress and improvement. To welcome to Trento Angelo Lorenzetti there were also the Mayor of Trento Dott. Alessandro Andreatta and the Municipal Councillor for Sport Andrea Robol.
