Many reporters have met Uros Kovacevic this afternoon, who has been officially presented by Trentino Volley in the prestigious trophy room of its headquarters.
“Uros is one of the most interesting players in the whole international stage, which means that presenting him has been for Trentino Volley a significant moment - General Manager Bruno Da Re has introduced him - To have him “in pink” is like to turn back the clock to when I made him arrive in Italy in 2012, in Modena. In the meanwhile he has grown both technically and physically. We wanted him so bad and now we are happy to see him wearing our t-shirt; All we expect from him are fighting spirit, heart, and of course points. I’m sure he’s going to match our expectations”.
“The impact with this new reality has been perfect, I’m here since just few hours but I’ve already understood in which kind of sporting environment and organisation I’ll move” - has told Uros Kovacevic, 24-year-old left-handed spiker from Kraljevo -. It’s a great honour for me and a matter of pride to play here, I hope we’ll win as much titles as possible because the Club deserve it. I’m in a new city, but I’m lucky to have the possibility to share this experience with people I’ve already worked with; Since the arrival of Angelo Lorenzetti in Trento, in fact, I’ve started to look forward to play wearing this t-shirt. I’ve always got along with him and his involvement has played a big role in my decision. Besides, I’ll work with Bruno Da Re, Dante Boninfante and Alessandro Guazzaloca which I already perfectly know. The team is going to have a young profile and I particularly like it because grow together is going to be even more motivating; Furthermore there are many talents as Giannelli and Vettori. It will be a wonderful season, we’ll show our competitiveness on every front. The objective is to show it in the Supercup semifinal versus Perugia, even though we are going to train without 3 important players in this first period. As soon as the three Italians get back we are going to train with an even better rhythm in order to find a good team understanding quickly. The 2017 European? I’m glad for the bronze medal with Serbia but we are not completely satisfied because we could have done something better; I’m going to redeem myself with Trento”.
