Stokr blocked Quesque

Report of the match. Compared to the going match coach Angelo Lorenzetti offers space one more time in the starting six to Stokr, which plays in diagonal with Giannelli; Urnaut and Lanza as spikers, Daniele Mazzone and Van de Voorde as middle-blocker, Colaci in the opposite role. Fenerbahce responds with Keskin as setter, Toy in the opposite role, Quesque and Sket as spikers, Emet and Pajenk as middle-blockers, Ozbek as libero. At the start of the match the hosting team immediately tries to get ahead (2-4, 5-7) , but Urnaut manages to close the gap realising great break-point occasions (8-7). Just after the technical time out the guest team fly to +3 (11-8) getting advantage of Fenerbahce’s mistakes which is still able to reach the opponents with their blocks (15-15). Sket scores the +2 (15-17), Trento tries to answer with Stokr but then suffers the service rotation of the Slovenian player, who also scores an ace getting his team to +5 (17-22). This is a decisive moment of the first set, since Trentino Diatec can’t realise any other breaks and loses the first set 20-25.

The second set doesn’t start in a better way for the yellow-blues. Quesque and Sket score some decisive points before the technical time-out (6-8). Stokr closes the gap already on 11-11. In the middle of the net the match is played point-to-point since Lorenzetti decides to put Van de Voorde and Solé together. Urnaut gets his team ahead with his service (19-17) and Trento proves then to be very focused on the match, scoring many points with Stokr who closes the second set with an ace on 25-22.
On 1-1 Trentino Diatec sees its tape and keeps playing with the right intensity and mental condition that allow the yellow-blue team to get ahead on 8-5 thanks also to a block of Daniele Mazzone and the attacks of Urnaut. After the time out the yellow-blues stop playing well suffering the intensity of the opponents who get to 2-9 (10-14) inspired by two direct aces of Sket. Lorenzetti interrupts the match with a time-out but his team can’t close the gap (17-20, 20-23). On 22-24 the rotation of Nelli at service allows to negate two set balls and to gain another one (25-24). Pajenk changes the destiny of the third set and an error of Stokr closes the set at the sixth set ball.
In the fourth set arrives the reaction of Lorenzetti’s team. With Stokr at service the yellow-blues score four other points of advantage (8-4) that in the end are hard to be maintained (13-10, 15-13) because Quesque and Sket scote a lot with both blocks and spikes, Trento sniffs out the danger and restarts with Stokr (19-15), achieving the qualification with Lanza, who attacks with great regularity scoring also the 25-19 that sends both the team to the tie-break.
In the fifth set Trento gives space to the players coming from the bench; Fenerbahce wants the victory and strikes a lot with its service (3-5, 3-10) directly going toward the final result of 2-3 on 6-15.
