The four sets played during the joint training with Wixo LPR Piacenza of this afternoon at PalaTrento, have closed the sixth week of Diatec Trentino’s pre- season training in the best way. The last period of activity in which Lorenzetti has relied on less than 10 players of the new pink (from next Tuesday on, with the return of Giannelli, Lanza and Vettori, they will be twelve), has been marked by the first real physical checks of the team, thanks to two test matches of a certain level conducted in the last three days. After the 3-0 of Wednesday night with JT Thunders, today the yellow-blues have shown an increasing condition, overcoming for 3-1 also the Emilians, at the end of a session that has been definitely fought but in which Cavuto and his teammates have always give the impression to have something more than the opposing team.
Thanks to Kovacevic, which has been really effective during the break point phase (7 of the 19 points made by the Serbian has arrived right on rebuilt) and to Teppan at the net (17 winning balls with 50%), the team has kept a constant score, being fooled only at the end of the second set after giving the impression to positively close also that fraction. Also Zingel in the first half with his blocks and Eder at service (scoring in both the fundamentals three times) have contributed. In the Wixo LPR, Fei and Yosifov, the only one with a double digit, has already appeared in a championship-shape.
