The unbeaten season of PalaTrento resists even in the presence of the team that, on April 13th 2014, was able to win the ultimate success outside of the facility. Top Volley Latina, which played tonight between the friendly walls of ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino, lost for 3-1 in front of 3,919 spectators (seasonal yellow-blue record) due to a great team, like the one of Stoytchev, that proved since the first exchange how much it cared to keep the lead in the ranking of Super League and the inviolability of their field.
The big match of the twentieth round of the regular season between leaders and sixth force in the league gave moments of excellent volleyball: Trento dominated the first half of the challenge getting the outcomes of a great work conducted amongst block, defense and service and then subsequently fall also for specific merits of Latina. Top Volley Latina was able to win the third set and totally reopened the match, thanks to the game of a renewed Starovic and a continuous Skrimov. Although the team collapsed again in the final of the fourth period, when the roar of the PalaTrento and the wonders of Kaziyski, from the line of nine meters (for Matey at the end 19 points, with 4 aces, 3 blocks, 46% at net and the deserved prize MVP of the match), once again tipped the scales in favor of the hosts.
The yellow-blue recorded good test at the block (12 direct points), where Solé was the major protagonist with 6 points; the Argentinian showed great performances even in the first half (62% like Birarelli), in a day when Lanza struggled more than usual to put the ball on the ground, well covered, however, by an increasingly valuable Nemec (16 points with 57%, three blocks and one ace).
