Diatec Trentino ends 2016 with an important away victory and the confirmation of the second pale in the raking list of SuperLega UnipolSai. The team trained by Angelo Lorenzetti tonight conquered PalaBianchini of Latina with 3-0 in the seventeenth round of regular season, achieving again a victory in an away match since last December 4th (3-2 in Molfetta) and defeating Perugia (today winner in Ravenna) as second ranked.
Confirming how good they were in the last two home matches, Lanza and his team mates displayed an efficient and continuous performance in each fundamental, with 7 good blocks, 4 points achieved thanks to the service and above all the 61% of the team in attack. In the first two sets, the Yellow-blue showed the best of themselves by forcing the Top Volley to follow a frantic play rhythm, in which Stokr (newly mvp with 15 points, 63% at net and 3 aces) and Solé (69%) made the rules, unmarked by Giannelli. In the third set the match proceeded often point by point, but in that case the points that the ex Van de Voorde scored (through three blocks and 79% in the first period) closed the match against Latina which tried to follow the adversaries through only to some errors of the guests.
