The prestigious and historical Teatro Sociale of Trento has been filled up in very single loggia and tonight has christened in the best way ever the first act of the new season of Diatec Trentino. In front of more than 650 spectators, Mr Angelo Lorenzetti's very new shortlist presented itself to the fans and to the city during a really nice appointment that has even been rich in fun and comic moments, thanks to the comedian Lucio Gardin and his verve. Unlike in the recent past, the presenters Sara Ravanelli and Gabriele Biancardi dedicated the majority of the time to the players; with ten of the thirteen new players participating to the meeting, the best thing to do was to focus the program of the night on the players that on Saturday will go to Civitanova and play, wearing the new jerseys (that have been presented tonight too). Before talking about the many good resolutions of the team, the official greetings by the institutions took place.
“It's wonderful to officially start the new season in the beautiful living room of our city, starting form here is symbolic” said the president Diego Mosna . “ This meeting meeting is dedicated to our fans, who demonstrated their attachment to us by subscribing 2100 membership cards. This data is very close to the ones of last year's championship, and that's why we will try even harder and we will have an even stronger determination during the championship that is about to start. We want to thrill you".
“The city has welcomed the new Diatec Trentino, a team that is very different now than in the past, but to which we ask the same joy of the last years” said the mayor of Trento Alessandro Andreatta. “ I like to highlight the activities that this team do not only in the gym but for the society too, and that's one of the reasons why it is a symbol of our city”.
“I want to wish them a season full of successes; one of which could already be obtained in Civitanova. Thanks to Trentino Volley, volleyball is growing in every corner of the city. You are an example to be followed”, said the sport assessor of the municipality of Trento Tiziano Mellarini.
People really enjoyed the Angelo Lorenzetti's words too: “ We are really excited, we are getting to know each other, both the staff and the team, and I hope to share everything's going to happen with the guys, both good and bad things. Our public already came to see us during the first friendly matches, we will be waiting for them in PalaTrento too to have a good start for the new season”. The curtains of new season have been pulled back, now the stage is the field.
