Trento, September 24th 2017
Diatec Trentino can now enjoy two days off before going back to gym, after collecting several positive hints during the first two test matches between Wednesday and Saturday night. After a Sunday and Monday with no trainings, the team will be back in PalaTrento on Tuesday morning, and from that exact moment on, the staff is also counting on Simone Giannelli, Filippo Lanza and Luca Vettori who will start the preparation with the yellow blue jersey on September 26th , after having past the summer with the National team.
While waiting for their arrival, the middle hitter Aidan Zingel told Trentino Volley Tv his impressions about the team, after having won two friendly matches: “The preparation week we just ended has been very demanding, for sure, but also very positive” said the Australian player of area 3, “ beyond the results, indeed, we collected many precious hints that we will put into practice from Tuesday on, when we will be back at work to try and improve ourselves, in order to do our best in the Final Four of SuperCup. We want to be in great conditions for this appointment”.
“My impression is that this Diatec Trentino is a very complete team and I say so because, even in the absence of the regular members, we showed a precise play scheme against both JT Thunders and Piacenza, in which our blocks and servings could really make the difference in our favor, as Lorenzetti often says. What about Kovacevic? He has arrived only recently but he's already well integrated, he's at ease with the group and I can say so because we played the last two seasons together. From next week we will try and come to a mutual agreement with Giannelli, Lanza and Vettori, and I think that it won't be a problem at all, because with players at an high level like them it's really easy to create a feeling".
