Diatec Trentino resumed training today afternoon. The day after match 2 of Finale Play Off Scudetto 2017, which coincided with the first seasonal defeat at PalaTrento after twenty-three victories in a row, the Yellow-blues got back to work in order to prepare the third match of the series – scheduled for Sunday 7th May at Eurosole Forum in Civitanova Marche (at 4.30 pm – live broadcast by RAI 3 and Radio Dolomiti).
For this occasion, the technical staff has scheduled a training session split in two groups: cool down and weights for those who didn’t play on Thursday evening, physical strengthening and technique and tactics with ball for everyone else. On Saturday, before leaving for Civitanova, there will be another training on the central field of PalaTrento between midday and two pm.
In Civitanova Trentino Volley will play its fifty-sixth official match in this season, the 715th match of all time, where it will try to conquer its 500th victory, the only result that would let it continue its race to the Scudetto. The match against Lube will have a double importance for Massimo Colaci, who on this occasion, with 345 official matches played with Trentino Volley, will reach the record-holder Emanuele Birarelli, in the hope of having at least another occasion in this season to take the lead in this special ranking.
