After Renee Teppan, another player of Trentino Volley who recently participated to the European Cup 2017 in Poland arrived in Trento in the last hours to start his adventure with the yellow-blue kit on.
In the late evening of Thursday is in fact arrived in town Jan Kozamernik; the Slovenian player, at his first experience far from his home country, won’t participate to the practice training that Diatec Trentino will play this evening at PalaOlimpia in Verona versus Calzedonia, but already this morning at PalaTrento he made himself available for the staff, who carefully evaluated his physical condition.
The twenty-one years old middle-blocker native of Lubiana, who was bought by the Club of via Trener from ACH in this summer, got injured at his left ankle during the last match of his intercontinental tournament but fortunately the injury doesn’t seem serious. In the next few hours, however, the physiotherapist Alessandro Russo will further verify his condition, in order to allow him to train with the group as soon as possible and to offer Angelo Lorenzetti the possibility to have all the middle-blockers of the new roster at his disposal.
“My ankle is getting better, I definitely feel better compared to when I got injured and I think that, with the treatment I’ll take in the next days, I will be able to be back and train and play the next matches very soon – claimed Jan Kozamernik to Trentino Volley Tv - . Our path in the European Cup with Slovenia was positive but, if we hadn’t got injured that much during the preparation phase, we could even do better. Now I only want to focus on my first season in Trento which will certainly be particular because it is the first that I play far from my home country. My initial impression about the new realty has been positive: I like the Society, the town and the whole environment around this team. I’m sure that I will live a fantastic experience here; I will work along with my teammates and Lorenzetti to become a better player in every respect”.
