The 27° Adige derby hasn’t been positive for Diatec Trentino, which should conclude its internal path in the regular season of Super League UnipolSai 2015/16  with a defeat and sees lost a chance to grab the second place. To conquer the PalaTrento with the high competitive content, according to tradition, was Calzedonia Verona, who imposed 3-1 to Italian champions.
For the hosts, still without Lanza and Djuric, wasn’t enough the sprint start in the first set to intimidate the guests, that were good to gradually descend more and more in the match and then became the absolute masters of the field, taking advantage of the good moments of Kovacevic (eventually mVP with 20 points and 50% at the net) and revived Starovic and Zingel. For Diatec Trentino was exceptional the response of high levels of Gabriele Nelli (20 points with 64% and two aces), single point of constant reference in attack for Giannelli; also the other two ball high ball spikers played well, while the middle-blocker Van de Voorde (78%) and Solé (62%) have as well done their part.
