Trentino Volley ends its 2017 transfer market with a great news: Yellow-blues have just signed with the Serbian wing spiker Uros Kovacevic.
This is a transfer that could change the equilibrium in the SuperLega UnipolSai for the next season. He played for Calzedonia Verona last season and is considered to be one of the best players of the league. Many teams were after him but he has signed a three year contract with Trentino instead: the long term project convinced him. Only twenty four years of age, he has already scored more than 1500 points in five years in the Italian league. Coach Lorenzetti already knows him after coaching him in Modena and was the main sponsor who pushed for his arrival in Trento, in order to build an even faster and unpre game.
“ We wanted a big name and big player to close our market session after having signed many great players. Kovacevic is the icing on the cake – explained President Diego Mosna - because he’s a very talented player, with great margin to improve and the age to do so. He’s the right player for our roster; we are very happy he decided to join us.”

His characteristics match perfectly with the other players we have recently signed, but more important is to build a unite team that works and plays together as one”.
Kovacevic will arrive in Trento in September after playing the European Championship with the Serbian national team; he will be playing with jersey number 2 and is the sixth Serbian player of Trentino Volley’s history, after Boskan, Mester, Vusurovic, Vujevic and Grbic.
