The last match test of Diatec Trentino before the Final Four of Del Monte Supercup 2017 will be played in Alto Adige. In 7 days, Wednesday 4th October, at 19:30, at PalaResia in Bolzano, the renewed “pink yellow blue” will face the vice-champions of Germany, the VfB Friedrichshafen, a well-known team of the Bundesliga.
For the occasion, Angelo Lorenzetti will have 12 of the 13 players of the new pink (the Canadian spiker Hoag will be absent) and will test the group of 6 players that will play Saturday versus Perugia at Civitanova Marche with an opponent that has a long European tradition behind, among them the Champions League victory of 2007.The appointment (free entrance) has been strongly wished and planned by the municipality of Bolzano and the local Südtirol Sport Team Society in order to celebrate Simone Giannelli, which is born little more than 21 years ago in the county town of South Tyrol, and that has moved the first steps in the volleyball stage before entering in the youth field of Trentino Volley.
