Less than twenty-four hours of rest for Trentino Diatec before training again in the gym. The extremely tight rhythms imposed by the calendar in the final phase of the 2017/18 season do not allow particularly long breaks; after the daring victory at the tiebreak on Sunday evening in Perugia in Match 2, the yellow-blues are back then to train already in the late afternoon today to perform the only session of work (weights and ball) before the departure for the Marche.
Wednesday, April 4 at 20.30 at the Aurosuole Forum in Civitanova they will play the going match of the Italian derby of Playoffs 6 of 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League with Cucine Lube; for this reason the team will move to central Italy already on Tuesday morning and stay there until Saturday, moving on Thursday directly to Perugia, where Saturday night will play Match 3 of Semifinal Play Off Scudetto UnipolSai 2018.
The challenge in the home of the Italian Champions on Wednesday will be a particularly significant moment for Angelo Lorenzetti, who in his native land (he was born in Fano fifty-four years ago) will cut the finish line of the hundred matches on the bench of Trentino Volley. In fact the yellow-blue coach has collected 99 of them (56 in the 2016/17 season, 43 in the current one), winning 66 and is the second coach for the Club's history, preceded only by Radostin Stoytchev (389) and before by Bruno Bagnoli (88) and Radames Lattari (64).
