Cucine Lube Civitanova-Trentino Diatec 3-1, the match report

The chronicle of the match. Trentino Diatec shows up in the Marche with: Giannelli as setter, Vettori as opposite, Lanza and Kovacevic as spikers, Eder and Kozamernik covering the diagonal of place 3, De Pandis as libero. The Cucine Lube proposes instead with Christenson as setter, Sokolov as opposite, Juantorena and Sander as spikers, Stankovic and Cester as middle-blockers, Grebennikov as libero. Even before the initial exchange Lorenzetti must call Vettori (backache) on the bench, replacing him with Teppan; the beginning is still positive, as the guests go on 5-4 before suffering a heavy break with Stankovic in the service (also two aces for 5-8). The yellow-blues evens at an altitude of twelve with the help of the Lube and two video checks, which give reason to Trentino Diatec; the parity lasts for a long time, until 17-17, then the locals run away again with an ace of Christenson (17-19) and then increase the gap with Stankovic on rebuilt (18-22). The Cucine Lube is holding tight the important advantage, manages it to the end taking home the partial opening for 22-25.

The second set does’nt start better (0-3), but the immediate time out of Lorenzetti is providential, because then the team returns to the field with the right look and evens already on 4-4, putting the arrow on 7-5 thanks to the services of Lanza. The Lube responds with Sokolov already on 10-10, but the Trentino forcing does’nt end here and produces a new tear (14-12 and then 16-14) with Kovacevic. Stankovic, always himself, replies with a wall on the new Zingel (19-19). At the sprint this time is the Trentino Diatec to conquer the fraction on 25-23, capitalizing the excellent line of Giannelli, which Kozamernik turns into point on 25-23 with a simple slash. In the third set the Lube immediately takes the reins of the game (0-5), taking advantage of a clear decline of the guests in all fundamentals. Lorenzetti also interrupts the match this time but without finding convincing answers from his, who then suffer other break points with Juantorena and Sokolov unleashed (5-10, 9-14). Trento can’t react effectively and yields for 19-25 without leaving a mark in a set in which Lube still gives a lot with  errors at service and to the net.
The fight point by point starts again during the fourth set, when the yellow-blues try to enlarge the gap (2-0 and then 4-3) but the opponents fill it again straight ahead (7-8). Then Trentino takes the lead once again thanks to the couple Kovacevic-Lanza (14-12 and 16-13). Lube reacts with Sokolov and Stankovic (16-15 and then 19-18), undermining two set points in a row (25-25), before closing 25-27 with an ace performed by Juantorena over Lanza.
