For the Under 24 ended the first training week after the Championship

The first period of post-championship trainings for the Under 24 players of Trentino Volley ended today at the Sanbapolis gym of Trento. During the last four days more or less 15 players of the yellow-blue Club, who were born after 1994, has started again to train and Angelo Lorenzetti supervised them with his staff, for a total of 5 sessions. For many of these players, who during the last season have had different types of experience, it was like going back to their roots: as a matter of fact they grew up in Trento after having been find out in small cities and they won young shields; after that they spread their wing in National Championships. Some others could experience for the first time the yellow-blue world, players such as the Slovenian setter Primoz, and some strikers: Baldazzi, Cester and Pierotti. Pierotti, starting from next week, won’t be part of the group because, as Galassi and Cavuto, he’ll respond to the called for the Italian National Team B, that will go to Rome on 22nd May in order to have a week of practice.
“This project is a way to show our focus on young players: this shows a sense of belonging – explained Angelo Lorenzetti - . It is also an opportunity for the players to work on their individual qualities in order to improve from a technical and physical point of view and to continue to train even during a period that is usually empty”.
The trainings will be resumed on Monday the 21st of May after an entire weekend rest; during the next week there’ll be a lot of time to play six against six without leaving out the physical training in the weight room.
