World Club Cup 2018, Trentino Diatecx achieves a comeback victory against Sada 3-1

The World Club Cup is turning out to be a victory after the other for Trentino Diatecx. After having beaten the Iranian team of Aradakan in three events, this evening at Hala Podpromie in Rzeszow Lorenzetti’s team has confirmed the latest trend, beating 3-1 the Brazilian team Sada Cruzeiro with an extremely proud reaction.
This result allows our team to gain the qualification to the semifinals of the tournament on Saturday, being again among the first four teams in the world after two years since the last time. In the challenge between the two teams whose names have been in the event’s honour roll the most, surely it was thanks to the bold final of the second set that Trento got the better.  After having been beaten in the opening set 0-1, Itas Trentino has reversed the trend in its hardest moment, as it had already happened in Padova. At 22-24, with Sada ahead in the second set, Lorenzetti’s players have reversed four set balls, before that the only one at their disposal was used by the newly-entered Nelli (in the end he did a convincing performance, even if rewarded with just few points: 7 points with 40% in attack). After having reached a tie, Trentino Diatecx has shifted gear, starting a different match, still with some suffering moments because the opponents continued playing well, even though slowly they have had to cope with the temper and the greater quality of Trento in stroke and attack. Aaron Russell, author of 24 points with 59% in the net area, Lisinac (10 with 69%) and Kovacevic (in the bench between the first and second set) have led the team towards the victory, helped by Giannelli, who has been really efficient also in difficult situations. On Thursday evening the possibility to close undefeated and with a first place the B tournament round against Resovia.
