SuperLega going round ends with a victory at tiebreak in Monza

The going round of regular season SuperLega Credem Banca 2018/19 ends with another victory for Itas Trentino and with a second position in the rank. The World Champions are living a very special and positive moment, winning the tonight match at the Candy Arena in Monza after a very long game (2,45 hours).
The sixteenth consecutive victory (including Championship, World Club Cup and CEV Cup) has arrived in a very amazing way after having won a long long set (57 minutes) and it has let Trentino Volley to protect their position in the rank: in the Del Monte® Coppa Italia 2019 rank Trento will be at the second position and during the Quarterfinals of the national Cup Trentino Volley will face Calzedonia Verona (seventh position) on 23rd January 2019 at BLM Group Arena in Trento.
During this interesting match, we want to point out the great performance of Lisinac (13 points with 83% in attack, 3 blocks and 1 ace), the actions in the net area (by Russell 20 points, Kovacevic), but especially the performance of the whole roster, which has been able to reopen the match when it seemed lost, also because a defeat 1-3 would have meant reaching the third position in the rank.
