“We are satisfied and surprised though, since we’d never imagined winning in these terms and in these ways – admitted Itas coach Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match - . Now we will try not to be too enthusiastic for this 3-0, since in the home return round we will have to face other top teams and we have to do really well. It has been a fluctuating match, perhaps also due to the fact that we were not as much fit as we usually are, but we did well both in  reception and service, which have been very helpful by recovering in the final stage after the initial fall. We have gained three significant points, beside the first position in the ranking”.
In 8 days, on Sunday 13th of January, there will be the next official match (fourth day of return round) of Itas Trentino vs Tonno Callipo Calabria in Vibo Valentia. Our players will start training from Monday’s afternoon on, after a Sunday of rest.
