2019 CEV Cup, Trentino Itas hits its target: Olympiacos defeated 3-1

Another European final, the fourth in the last five seasons and the seventh overall for Trentino Volley! Trentino Itas has in fact obtained tonight the qualification to the last double turn of 2019 CEV Cup, the second main European tournament for importance, in front of its public completing what was started in the going match.
Galatasaray of Instabul will be the opponents in the final match. The Turkish team eliminated tonight the Russians of Kemerovo at the golden set; the double match it’s scheduled on Tuesday 19th (first match in Trento) and Tuesday March 26 (in Turkey) in a completely inedited match.
Angelo Lorenzetti’s team immediately won the first two sets showing personality and determination to obtain the qualification to the last phased of the tournbament – which in the last previous turns saw other 38 teams coming from a double dozen of different countries. Aaron Russell was Trentino Volleyy’s special weapon tonight: with 13 scored points and 79% in attack the American spiker led his teammates towards their target; after having obtained it there has been space for a long series of changes, which still didn’t make the home team lose its focus. Yellow-blues reacted in the fourth set with Nelli and Candellaro winning on 3-1 after having lost the third set.
Trento can then celebrate the qualification to the third final of its season: after the ones played in Supercoppa Italiana in Perugia on October 7th and the one of World Club Championship won in Czestochowa on December 2nd versus Civitanova, in this case on an international field, where the yellow-Club managed to win eight times already.
