CEV Cup, it is the 7th european final of the history of the Club (the 12th international)

The relationship between Trentino Volley and the European competitions will always be special and full of moments of extraordinary significance. The result obtained this evening has in fact allowed the company of via Trener to continue to keep open the incredible continental saga that distinguished it since 2009. President Mosna's Club today has won the participation in its seventh European final ever, the twelfth international in the last ten years.
The final act of the event, scheduled between March 19th and 26th, will therefore be the umpteenth appointment with the history for a group already capable of winning five times the title of World Club Cup and three times the Champions League.
The scrapbook related to the CEV events becomes more and more full of pages: the first one is the one related to the night of April 5th 2009 in Praga, when the yellow-blue team won for 3-1 conquering the title after surpassing in semifinal Macerata in the Italian derby. Following there is the second page which is the one referred to May 2nd 2010 where Trentino volley  won against Dinamo Mosca at Atlas Arena in Lodz, whereas the third one, unforgettable, dates back to march 27th 2011 when there was a victory against Kazan at PalaOnda in Bozen.
In the most recent season (2014/15 2015/16 e 2016/17) we have the only three defeats in a continental final.
Leaving the speech related to the single event, it must be highlighted that this is the thirty-fourth final ever for Trentino Volley. There are also the last twenty matches played in the national field: the three played vs Piacenza in the playoff of the championship 2008, 2009 and 2013, the six matches played vs Cuneo (Coppa Italia 2010 and 2011, V-Day 2010 and 2011, SuperCoppa Italiana 2010 and 2011), the seven played vs Macerata (V-Day 2012, Play Off 2017, Coppa Italia 2012 e 2017, Italian Supercoppa 2008, 2012 e 2013), and the five vs Modena (Coppa Italia 2015 and 2016, final of Italian Supercoppa 2015 and 2018).
The balance in the matches where a title is assigned sees Trentino volley win seventeen times out of thirty-three: the peculiarity lies in the fact that until today, Trentino Volley has won eight of the eleven international finals in which it took part.
In addition we have to add five final of World Club Cup, the first four played vs Blchatow in Doha (3-0 on November 8th 2009 and 3-1 on December 21st 2010), vs Jastrzebski (3-1 on October 14th 2011) and vs Cruzeiro (October 19th 2012, 3-0) and the last one, very recent, in Czestochowa (December 2nd 2018) against Civitanova.
