One day of rest for Trentino Volley. Russell: “Match 2 will be harder”

One day of rest for Itas Trentino after two very intense weeks of matches, training and transfers. After the 3-0 victory against Padova on Sunday at the BLM Group Arena (turn 1 of the quarterfinals of Play Off Championship Credem Banca 2019) the technical staff granted the team one day and a half of rest.
The training for the turn 2, which will be played on Sunday 7th April in Veneto, will start on Tuesday afternoon.
“This will be the right occasion: we will try to improve and to pay attention to the physic condition that in the last fourteen days has been inevitably neglected - Aaron Russell explained in his Monday off -.  We finally have some time to devote to the rest and to the technique and tactic without the pressure of another forthcoming match; it is really a great opportunity”.
“On Sunday the turn 1 was a nervous match - he added -; we had not always played like we wanted, and especially during the third set we had some difficulties. Kioene made us understand that the Play Off matches are very different to the others; our opponents played very well and I think that this victory in only three sets has been a great success. But I am afraid that the next match will be harder. We want to win and we should do our best to do it. Last year we conquered the championship against Perugia without having won any away match but we had the possibility to do it because we had a great score and for this reason we could play and win only the home matches. In this case the situation is different and the away games will be decisive”.
