Giannelli at Radio Dolomiti: "A very good season"

Guest of the Radio Dolomiti stand set up in these days for the Trento Film Festival in Piazza Pasi where the end-of-season toast with the fans will be celebrated, the Captain of Trentino Volley traced the report of the season just ended.
“We deserve a vote between eight and nine, because throughout the championship we really did a good path - Simone Giannelli explained - . We stayed in second position throughout the regular season, also playing very well; we know how difficult it is to do it in a tournament as difficult as the Italian one. The balance seen in both the semi-finals of the Play Off Scudetto showed how this SuperLega aimed high, because Modena competed with Perugia for the Final until match 5 and we did it until the fourth challenge. I certainly do not forget the two titles won in the meantime, the Club World Cup and the CEV Cup that have allowed us to take away some good satisfactions. I would have preferred to be at the gym today to prepare an official match to play on May 1st but I am still proud of what we did and we must recognize that Civitanova deserved qualification”.
"Volleyball is my life and therefore I find hard to stay away from the field - continued Simone – . Doing nothing  for more than two days is objectively difficult for me, which is why on Monday I went back to the weight room. The head is always there while the body would like to be able to relax for a while. But in a few weeks I will be back to wearing the blue shirt, another reason for pride. In Trento I feel great, I don't miss anything and I want to stay here a long time together with my teammates. we enjoy as a group and we played a good game. I believe that continuing for another season with the same sextet is important because we can make a quality leap in. I can't wait to start again".
