Ready for Volleyball Nations League 2019: seven Trentino Volley’s player taking part

The 2019 edition of Volleyball Nations League (VNL) will officially start on 31st May (it is the second), the tournament is organised by Fivb and since last year it has replaced World League letting the strongest national teams face each other.
The sixteen teams taking part in it, will face each other in the first phase (Preliminary Round) that consist in five weekends of matches; during each weekend four pools will play, each pool with four teams, changing their composition every time. Only the American team (as the organiser of the event) and first five teams in the rankings, based on the results of the 120 matches played, will have access to the Final Six in Chicago (USA), between 10th and 14th July.
Eight players of Trentino Volley have their names in the competition: Davide Candellaro, Oreste Cavuto, Simone Giannelli and Gabriele Nelli (Italy), Uros Kovacevic and Srecko Lisinac (Serbia), Jenia Grebennikov (France) and Aaron Russell (USA).
Already in the first weekend some Trentino Volley’s players will face each other in the Serbia-France match on Saturday, 1st June at 7 pm, precisely Grebennikov, Kovacevic and Lisinac (will have just come back). They will face also the Russian team and Japanese one in the same weekend.
Italy instead will play in Jiangmen (China), where she will face first Iran (on Friday, at 10 am), then Germany (on Saturday, at 10 am) and China (on Saturday, at 2 pm). Italian team’s matches will be live broadcasted on channel Nove (digital terrestrial platform), on Eurosport and Eurosport Player channel.
