Giannelli in the milanese weekend of Volleyball Nations League 2019

The last weekend of games of the Volleyball Nations League 2019 saw three players from Trentino Volley take the field with their national teams at PalaLido in Milan. Friday night the challenge between Italy and Serbia offered a suggestive match: Giannelli and Cavuto on one side, Lisinac (in the tournament after a few more weeks of rest) on the other.
Italy won for 3-0, then both Italy and Serbia lost against Argentina and Poland. However, the two negative results did not take anything away from the great weekend of by the yellow-blue captain, who scored 23 times with 7 personal aces.
In the standings, Italy slips to fifth place, the last one valid for the Chicago Final Sixth in mid-July. Next weekend, the Italian team will be in Brasilia to challenge Canada, France (without Grebennikov), while Serbia will play in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) against the USA and Iran.
