Giannelli on Radio Dolomiti: “Championship more and more exciting and challenging"

Waiting to be on the pitch (very soon) with the Itas Trentino jersey, this afternoon Simone Giannelli was the protagonist on the frequencies of Radio Dolomiti, partner of Trentino Volley for ten seasons. During the broadcast “Dolomiti Sport Show”, which has been transmitting on Sundays, the captain of gialloblù described his state of mind at the end of the European Championship just over two days from the beginning of the preparation with his club.
“France had played a very good first set, it had been superior to us in the group and has confirmed itself good as well in the match of the quarter-finals - he said referring to the lost match 0-3 with transalpines that eliminated Italy from the European Championship - . We had have some chances during the second set, but we hadn't been able to take advantage of them. Even before turning the page and looking ahead, it is necessary to analyze everything we’ve done with the blue jersey during this summer so that we can do better. The Serbia-Slovenia Final? It's the right one because they both made a great European and Slovenia was surprising in everything but it didn't come to the end by chance; in the knockout board it only met top teams like Bulgaria, Russia and Poland and defeat them all”.
“The SuperLega Championship which starts in three weeks will be more and more stimulating than the last ones because the level of the other teams has risen further - added Simone during the  telephone interview conducted by Stefano Piffer - . Winning every match will be very difficult because next to the usual team such as Civitanova, Perugia and Modena, the market has affirmed the desire to grow in Monza with Kurek, in Padua with Hernandez, but also in Milan, Verona and many others. There is really nothing missing to live a truly enjoyable season, because every match will be an opportunity for growth. Obviously we are there too; Itas Trentino will fight hard until the end. Our staff has changed little but every season we start from scratch; we are strong but we also want to be humble and we will not take anything for granted’’.
