Champions League, Trentino Itas will face Jastrzebski in the quarter finals

 

The clashes for the 2020 CEV Volleyball Champions League quarter-finals has officially been drawn today in Luxembourg. In the knockout phase Trentino Itas will face the Polish team of Jastrzebski Wegiel (winners of Pool C) with the first leg match that will be played at the BLM Group Arena and the second leg in Poland. The two clubs have already faced each other in the 2011 CEV Champions League semi-finals, played in Bolzano, and in the 2011 Men's Club World Championship, played in Doha.
The dates: the first leg of the quarter-finals will take place between 3 and 5 March in Trento, the second leg between 10 and 12 March in Poland. The exact date and time of the match will have to wait for confirmation from both clubs, in agreement with the respective national federations and local television broadcasters. The four teams that will win both games will enter the semi-finals, scheduled for the second half of March; only if the two teams have both won one game each at the tie break or if they have both won one game each in four sets at the most, the Golden set at 15 will be played at the end of the second match. The team that will pass the round between Trentino Itas and Jastrzebski Wegiel will face the winner of Roeselare-Civitanova.
The knock-out final is scheduled for May 16 in Berlin (Germany).
