Amarcord, Labour Days of great volleyball: six times in 19 seasons

Labour Day = great volleyball = great victory. The triple equation has often been observed during the previous nineteen years of Trentino Volley, especially during the last ten. In fact, on six occasions it happened that the formation played an official match on 1st May; the overall balance is five victories and only one defeat. 
The only knockout is related to the first occasion, played at the PalaTrento in 2006: the then Itas Diatec Trentino, led by Lattari, was enjoying his first semi-final in history and only gave in to the tie break of match 4 of the series against Sisley Treviso, ending that very evening an exceptional season, in which it also reached the semi-final of the Coppa Italia, eliminating Lube, at the time Champion of Italy in the quarter-finals. Then came only victories and all particularly heavy. As in 2008: 3-0 home success in match 1 of Fianale Scudetto (the replica took place six days later for the first Italian trophy). In 2010, however, there was room for a European parenthesis of great value, as the 3-1 victory over the Slovenian Bled team at the Atlas Arena in Lodz coincided with the qualification for the second consecutive Champions League Final (later won). 
Afterwards, on 1st May, it became exclusive to Play Off Scudetto again, reserving home affirmations, all decisive for the achievement of three championships. In 2011, the year of the historic triplete, the 3-0 victory in match 3 with Modena (semifinal that ended in the fifth challenge); in 2013 the victory always in three sets in match 3 of the Final with Piacenza, in 2015, finally, the painful 3-2 over Perugia in the semifinal play-off. The then ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino team won 16-14 in the fifth set and gained access to the Final Series, which then won 3-1 over Modena.
