Podrascanin on Radio Dolomiti: "I'm motivated and ready to take Trento back to the top"

Eve of Mid-August marked by the last training at the BLM Group Arena but also by a visit to the Radio Dolomiti studios for Marko Podrascanin. Before taking part in the afternoon weights and technique session, the new Itas Trentino middle-blocker was hosted by the historic Trentino Volley media partner, speaking about himself live on the morning broadcast conducted by Michelangelo Felicetti.
"I have been in Trento for almost a month now, it seems so long ago because I am feeling really good, beyond my best expectations - explained the Serbian volleyballer - . I already have a great feeling with the group and the town and all this helps to train better. The chemistry with Lisinac is certainly older, but in truth I have often met my other teammates as opponents, so it didn't take long to refine that chemistry. I came here because there was the possibility to keep fighting for the victory and to compete at great levels. Maybe in the last few years Trentino Volley hasn't won as much as its glorious history imposed, all the more so I'm motivated to get it back where it deserves to be: always on top".
"The chemistry with Giannelli improves day by day - he continued - ; at the moment I still lack elevation but I am convinced that when I am physically at my best we can play a very efficient first half. I particularly appreciate the wall: I am so satisfied when I manage to make it. It is like when a goalkeeper saves a penalty kick. Preparation? It is going well; I think it is normal that my teammates seem to be lost: the lockdown was hard and long for everyone. Luckily the first official match is in a month and there is plenty of time to get ready".
