Nimir still sets records! In Padua nine aces in a single game, matched Kaziyski's record

Can just three official matches be enough to fully enter the history of a club? Apparently yes to Nimir Abdel-Aziz; after having recorded, on the occasion of Itas Trentino-Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-2 on 13 September, the best personal score of a rookie in the giallo-blù jersey, on Sunday evening at the Kioene Arena in Padua the Dutch opposite spiker wrote a new page of the record book of the club in via Trener.
The nine aces made during the first round match of SuperLega Credem Banca 2020/21, won in Veneto by Itas Trentino 3-0, in fact matched the previous record for the aces scored by a Trentino Volley player in a single game. Until 26 September 2020, the only holder of the record was Matey Kaziyski, who scored from the nine-meter line nine times at the Itas Trentino-Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia 3-2 on 26 March 2009 (match number 1 of the quarter-finals of the Play Off Scudetto). The data recorded by Nimir with Padua takes on even greater value, taking into account that it was achieved in just three sets and committing just five errors out of twenty-two serves overall, while at the time the Bulgarian spiker had performed twenty-four serves overall and six errors to get that number of aces.
Furthermore, no Trentino Volley player had ever achieved 67 points in his first three games wearing the giallo-blù jersey; the previous record belonged to Kaziyski (56 winning balls).
