Leo Shoes Modena-Itas Trentino 1-3, the match report

The match report. The reading of the starting six of the 76th A22 derby holds no surprises; Itas Trentino accuses only the absence of Kooy and therefore shows up with the seven starters seen on the field in the latest outings: Giannelli at the net, Nimir opposite spiker, Michieletto and Lucarelli spikers, Lisinac and Podrascanin middle-blockers, Rossini libero. Leo Shoes responds with Christenson as setter, Vettori opposite spiker, Lavia and Petric spikers, Mazzone and Stankovic middle-blockers, Grebennikov libero. The guests start stronger thanks to the fundamental of the block: Lucarelli blocks Vettori for 7-5, then Lisinac stops Stankovic and Nimir does it on Petric (10-7 and 14-10). Giani's time out does not have the desired effects, because then at the resumption Michieletto passes from place 4 and Lavia makes a mistake, giving the +6 to Trentino (18-12). The final part of the set is in absolute control of the giallo-blù team (20-15, 23-17), which makes the most of Nimir's vein and closes quickly on 25-18.
The second set starts in the name of Alessandro Michieletto, who scores three consecutive aces for the initial 7-5. Modena does not break down and gets parity at nine. Then Nimir (ace) and Podrascanin (block on Petric) think about relaunching Trentino's ambitions for victory (15-12). Vettori tries to relaunch the premises (18-16), Itas Trentino senses the danger and starts again with Nimir (22-19), but has an empty pass (22-21) precisely because of a block suffered by the opposite spiker by Karlitzek (22-23). In the sprint, Leo Shoes did not take advantage of three-set balls, while Trento closed the score at the second (29-27), with a counterattack from place 4 by Nimir himself and having achieved the decisive ace with Lucarelli.
At 2-0, Modena tries to push more with the service by scoring a promising 7-9 with Karlitzek. However, Itas Trentino has Lisinac and Nimir in great shape and quickly gets the points that bring them back into balance (10-10). The two teams fight hard (13-13, 17-17), then Lucarelli creates +2 with a positive service rotation (22-20). Afterward Modena scores a 1-5 partial with Petric, winning the third set for 23-25 and diametrically reopening the game.
On a wave of enthusiasm, Leo Shoes returns to the field very charged during the fourth set, starting very well from the blocks (1-4) thanks to Mazzone. Trento reacts with Nimir and quickly finds parity (7-7). Modena, however, still has the energy to restart with Petric (12-14) and Stankovic, who signs the block on Nimir (17-19), after the same Dutch opposite spiker had equalized the score at 17. Itas Trentino overturns the situation (20-19) always with its main spiker; Lisinac's block on Petric is worth +2 (22-20). The giallo-blù team keeps the advantage tight and close at 3-1 (25-22) with Nimir.
