SuperLega, 2020 closed with a net route in December (9 out of 9)

Itas Trentino closes 2020 in the best possible way, securing three points also in the recovery of the eleventh round of the regular season SuperLega Credem Banca 2020/21. The ninth consecutive success in as many matches played in December was won by the giallo-blù team tonight at Pala De André in Ravenna, beating the hosts of Consar by 3-1.
The round score counts a lot not only to keep the positive streak open, but also for the ranking that now sees Giannelli and his teammates alone in fourth place with one point and one game less than in Vibo Valentia. In the historic venue of Emilia Romagna, Itas Trentino continued in the path traced in the previous championship matches; break of the second set aside, in which Giannelli and his teammates showed difficulty in receiving and made too many mistakes, the team dominated the scene, although leaning less than usual on service and block (scored only thirteen times between the two fundamentals).
Nimir Abdel-Aziz confirmed himself again, on the scoresheet twenty-one times with 55% in attack, two blocks and three aces and protagonist of all the giallo-blù accelerations during the partials. Among the most positive notes, the twenty-two points scored by the central couple Podrascanin-Lisinac, with the latter scoring 73% in the first half.
