Statistics, a perfect home path for the gialloblù in Champions: 7 victories out of 7!

Some notes and statistical curiosities revealed after the first round of the semifinal of 2021 CEV Champions League, won by Trentino Itas by 3-0 on Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia.
13 IN A ROW. The success of Thursday evening against the Umbrian team allowed Trentino Itas to maintain its seasonal invincibility in 2021 CEV Champions League; until now, Giannelli and teammates have won twelve times in as many matches played (officially are 13, considering the forfeit by 3-0 of Friedrichshafen on 11 February). Considering also the 3-2 imposed on Ceske Budejovice at home in the last match of the previous edition (stopped suddenly by the pandemic), Trentino Volley hasn’t lost in the biggest continental competition for more than thirteen months. The latest KO is dated back to 13 February 2020 with the home 1-3 against Civitanova. The total consecutive victories are thirteen and represent the second-best streak in Champions League ever; the first has fifteen victories in a row and was made between 4 November 2008 (home 3-0 on Bled) and 5 January 2010 (loss by 3-1 in Moscow).
HOME SWEET HOME. With the match of Wednesday, Trentino Itas ended its home path regarding 2021 CEV Champions League and it did that in the best way possible, winning all the matches played at the BLM Group Arena. The track record at home was clamorous; the opponents have won only three sets (2 Novosibirsk, one Karlovarsko) at the BLM Group Arena, losing by 3-0 on five circumstances (out of seven overall). At the BLM Group Arena, Trentino Volley hasn’t lost for four months and for fifteen matches overall. The last KO dates back to 25 November 2020 against Vibo Valentia (1-3).
ALWAYS WINNING THE FIRST ROUND OF THE EUROPEAN SEMIFINAL. The 3-0 on Sir Sicoma Monini has further confirmed the great aptitude of Trentino Volley for the first round of the semifinal in the European competitions. The gialloblù Club has always won this appointment; the precedents are all related to the semifinals of CEV Cup: 3-2 on 24 March 2015 in Kedzierzyn-Kozle, 3-0 on 28 March 2017 at home with Fenerbahce, and 3-0 on 26 February 2019 in Athens.
737. Nimir Abdel-Aziz, with the Trentino Volley jersey, has scored many points in this season until now. Thanks to the sixteen winning balls scored on Wednesday evening, the Dutch opposite spiker has already become the fifth best scorer in a single gialloblù agonistic year, surpassing the figure of Kaziyski (727) in 2014/15 season. The absolute record in this special ranking belongs to Matey himself (852 in 2009/10 season), followed by Osmany Juantorena (816 points in 2009/10 season), again by Kaziyski (762 in 2008/09) and by Leandro Vissotto (746 in 2008/9). All have played a major number of matches compared to the ones played by Nimir (40), who has four other matches to improve his score and potentially surpassing other places.
