Betim, Lorenzetti: "We knew we were stronger than our opponents but..."

"The first match of an event like this is always a bit unique - said the coach of Itas Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match - ; moreover, it was a direct match, almost in or out, given the situation of the opening tournament of the day before. We knew we were stronger than our opponents but we had to prove it in the court and we were able to do it, even if we dropped during the second set. We are happy to have made it to semifinal, because our goal is to get on the podium of the tournament and we will try to get a medal with all our strengths”.
The next match is scheduled for Friday 10th December, at the Ginásio Poliesportivo Divino Braga in Betim; the next match at 0.30 is against the Brazilians of Sada Cruzeiro for the second and last game of Pool B (live on Sky Sport Arena and Volleyball World Tv).
