Champions League, here it is the first seasonal victory against Fenerbahce in Pool E

The return at BLM Group Arena for an official match, circumstance that lacked since last November 18th, gives to Trentino Itas the first three seasonal points of its race in 2022 CEV Champions League. This evening, before the supporters, the yellow-blue formation has indeed broken the ice in Pool E, finding the victory for 3-0 against the Turkish team Fenerbahce HDI Istambul in the second match of Pool E.
An essential result to relaunch the ambitions of the qualification to the quarter final and start again the interrupted “dialogue” inside the friendly walls a month ago, with a success of 3-1 against Piacenza. Despite the recent oversea away game played, the formation of Angelo Lorenzetti did not hesitate to impose its way of playing, as the team abundantly showed in the first and third set. Even when the team had to play harder, as happened in the second set, it showed to have the quality and the tools to make a comeback as compared to a difficult score of 17-21. In that occasion, the down the line shot of Matey Kaziyski was fundamental, followed by two aces, and the efficiency at the net by Daniele Lavia. The Calabrian hammer, lined up as fake opposite spiker, was an extremely valuable element to direct the entire match in the game bag of Trento, scoring two aces and six winning blocks among 19 balls played. Umpteenth proof at a high level for Michieletto (12 points and 3 aces) and Sbertoli, more and more casual while directing the match day after day.
