SuperLega, Itas Trentino in emergency assures the recovery of the 17th round

The recovery of the 17th round of the regular season SuperLega Credem Banca confirms the great dimension of Itas Trentino in 2022. As in the previous four away-games in the new calendar year, the Gialloblù squad also scored points this evening at the Kioene Arena in Padua, collecting three points thanks to a 3-1 win against the Bianconeri hosts.
The fourteenth victory of the season allows Lorenzetti’s team to strengthen their third position in the standings, reaching Civitanova at 45 and detaching Modena by four (both opponents, however, have to recover matches). The confirmation of a good physical state came also in a situation of clear difficulty; already without Podrascanin (present, but not available for the well-known abdominal pains), the squad had to give up at last also to Lavia (who in the pre-game showed flu symptoms, with a negative quick-tampon) but managed to find the thread of his own game, although suffering, as happened in the finale of the first set and throughout the third half. In those moments, in fact, Padua managed to cause harm with the service; Trento wavered, but still won the lead in the opening fracture and then managed to climb up the lead even in the last period, which lost 5-8. The great Gialloblù determination, manifested through the hints of Kaziyski (best scorer of the match with 17 points and 52% on net), Michieletto (16 with two blocks and an ace), Lisinac (10 with 67%, a block and a point by serving) and Pinali (decisive in the first set final), well directed by mvp Sbertoli.
