Itas Trentino-Allianz Milano 3-0, the semifinal match report

Match report. No new players in the starting six: Angelo Lorenzetti confirms the starting line-up of Itas Trentino, with Sbertoli at the direction, Lavia, Kaziyski and Michieletto in the high ball trio, Podrascanin and Lisinac in the middle, Zenger as libero. Allianz Milano responds with Porro as director, Patry as opposite, Ishikawa and Jaeschke as hitters, Piano and Chinenyeze as centers, Pesaresi as libero. The yellow-blue team starts off better and with Kaziyski and Lisinac they go from 0-2 to 6-3 and then with Lavia (13-6) they defend themselves from the opponents' attack that had reached 7-6. In the central part of the match, Trento prevails with Kaziyski and Lisinac on serve (16-9, 20-12). The 1-0 lead arrives very quickly, with the Serbian center, paired with his counterpart Podrascanin, scoring the last points of the first half, which ends 25-14. In the second partial, Milan tries to react (6-5), but Lisinac and Michieletto are the ones who widen the gap, scoring repeatedly on block and attack (9-6). In the central part of the match, Itas Trentino prevails again with Lavia (16-10), and can then manage the final phase without too much anxiety, in which Kaziyski also finds space to put heavy balls on the floor (23-18 and 25-20, with a decisive point by Michieletto). Things don't change in the third set, in which Itas Trentino leads the game after 6-5 with Lisinac and Lavia (12-6) despite Milan's strong Romanò. However, the opponents are really too foul and Trento takes advantage of it to keep its advantage intact (14-9) almost until the end. Milano, with Ishikawa and Jaeschke, raises its head up to 21-18, then can no longer contain Lorenzetti's team, who crowns its dream of the Final with a 25-20 victory.
