Berlin, Lorenzetti: "We knew this match was going to be very difficult, but..."

"We are obviously happy, because reaching the goal of staying among the top four teams in the Champions League was anything but easy - explained Trentino Itas coach Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match - . We knew this match was going to be very difficult, but the players did a great job in coming back after being down 0-2. I've often complimented this group, but in this case I must also mention that in the first two sets we got a little too tense and we woke up only when we felt the danger of going for it all in the golden set. There is no more time to do this, but on this aspect we will have to grow further from here until the end of the season".
Before the 2022 CEV Champions League semifinal with Perugia (first match in Umbria on March 30th 31st, return in Trento on April 6th or 7th), Itas Trentino will be back to focus on the SuperLega championship; on Sunday, March 20th, the Gialloblù will be on stage in Cisterna di Latina to play the last match of the regular season, while seven days later they will make their debut in the Play Off Scudetto playing match 1 of the quarterfinals at the BLM Group Arena.
