Alessandro Michieletto receives the Lorenzi Award as the best Trentino player 2021-22

Alessandro Michieletto is the winner of the Lorenzi Award 2021-22. The young left-handed setter, who grew up in the youth sector of Trentino Volley and is a strong player of the World and European Champion National team, received today, during a press conference held at the Hotel Everest in Trento, the award given by the local Promovolley Society to the best player in Trentino Alto Adige in recent seasons.
He was chosen by a jury of regional journalists and insiders. The award honours even more a spectacular final year of competition, in which in addition to titles with the National Team Alessandro also won an Under 21 World Championship as best player and the Italian Supercup with Itas Trentino.
Scrolling through the trophy's roll of honour, it becomes clear how important the recognition received today is. In the past the "Lorenzi'' has gone to fill the trophy cabinet of valuable players such us of Lorenzo Bernardi, Massimo Dalfovo, and Marco Martinelli, athletes who have written some of the most beautiful pages in the history of Italian volleyball, as well as other products of the yellow-blue youth sector such as Leonardi, Gallosti, Burgsthaler, and more recently by Fedrizzi, Giannelli and Galassi. A further reward for what Trentino Volley has done so far in the youth sector and the growth of young local talent.
