Play Off Scudetto, amazing show of strength in game 3

An important, incisive, incessant and hostile match in all the sets: in this way Itas Trentino gets its lead back in the Credem Banca 2023 SuperLega Play Off Final series. By overcoming Cucine Lube Civitanova this evening with a decisive 3-0 win in Game 3. The yellow-blue team has in fact once again taken the lead in the match with the reigning Italian Champions and at the same time brought itself one step closer to winning the scudetto, which could come as early as next Friday at the Eurosuole Forum in the case of a new success over the red-white team.
Lorenzetti's team earned the first of two match balls (the second one will potentially be  Game 5 at the BLM Group Arena, on May 17th) by touching utmost levels of play; the court factor - always respected in the first three acts of the confrontation - had from this point of view once again played its role: the 4,000 spectators of the BLM Group Arena in fact supported every action of their team in an extraordinary way, tipping the scale in favor of the Trentino players well before the middle of every set can be played. With a sharp and an incisive serve, an attack inspired excellently by Sbertoli and a block that soon took measures to the opponents, the yellow-blue team dominated the game, being led into the counterattack phase by an excellent Matey Kaziyski, absolute MVP of the match so much as to realize 11 break points out of the 18 winning balls overall (with 64% at the net and 4 aces). Tonight, the captain was backed up in all the sets by a superb Michieletto (71% on the net, 5 blocks and 78% in reception) and by an unstoppable Podrascanin in the middle of the net (73%).
And in the final great entry for Džavoronok as well, just to give the last hit to a Cucine Lube that struggled to score with continuity, as shown by the 42% in attack and the only two points obtained between block (2) and serve (0).
