Magalini: "What a thrill to be back in Trento: I signed without uncertainty"

The first interview again as a player of Trentino Volley for Giulio Magalini, a 21-year-old Scaliger spiker, made official today.

Welcome, indeed welcome back to Trento, Giulio!
"Actually, despite being very young, for me it is a return because I had already had the opportunity to play for this club the 2019/20 season, playing the Serie A3 championship with UniTrento Volley.. It’s exciting to be here again, also because I will find in the first team a teammate like Alessandro Michieletto; but I’m obviously curious to know all the other players and the technical staff. I want to settle in as soon as possible".
What do you expect from this second experience in a Trentino Volley jersey?
"I want to improve, also through the opportunity to mature minutes on the court not only in SuperLega but also in the international arena, taking into account that this team will once again play in the Champions League. For me it will be a highly anticipated debut in the highest continental event. I guarantee from now on my maximum commitment to try and achieve more victories for this club".
In Verona over the past few seasons, you lived next to many people who had already played in Trentino Volley :did they tell you anything in particular?
"I always received decidedly positive “reviews” for this team that I already knew quite well anyway; their impressions have only strengthened my conviction in accepting this proposal, also because three years ago I had been followed scrupulously and could certainly not have any doubts".
You already said it: you will find Alessandro Michieletto on the team, with whom you have a very close relationship. Suffice it to say that on his cell phone in the address book your contact is saved as "Brother Maga"...
"I'll tell you more: on my cell phone he is saved as "Brother Mich"! Ours is a long-standing and very close friendship. It was already great to find him in the national team during these last days, it will be even nicer to share every day in the gym in Trento".
Did wearing the Italy Seniores jersey, as is the case these days, made you grow more?
"Absolutely, yes. It was already an honor to have worn that of the Youth Nationals, let alone now that I can wear that of the 'big boys.' I am experiencing unique emotions and I want to continue to do so as I continue my maturation process".
