The best version of Itas Trentino is back in the SuperLega

The resumption of hostilities in SuperLega Credem Banca allowed Itas Trentino men's team to immediately regain the feeling of victory. This evening the Italian Champions won their sixteenth victory in seventeen matches played in the 2023/24 regular season, defeating the Mint Vero Volley Monza that seven days before had forced them to stop in the Italian Cup semi final.
At the Opiquad Arena the gialloblù won 3-0, momentarily escaping to +6 in the standings with respect to the first pursuer Perugia, who on Sunday will be able to try to rebuild the Trentino breakaway attempt by hunting for points on Piacenza's court. The redemption of Fabio Soli's team arrived in a peremptory and convincing manner. Since the very first exchanges, Itas Trentino proved to be an evening of grace, not only in attack (62% with just three errors), but also in the break point phase, offering for the whole match a wall and a service (both fundamentals scored seven times) of great quality. Monza lost contact immediately in each set, trying to put up more resistance in the last two halves, but never gave the impression of being able to withstand the frenzied rhythm of the Italian team, always pushed forward by a sumptuous Michieletto (mvp and best scorer with 18 points, 2 blocks, 2 ace and 67% offensive), by an extremely practical Rychlicki (13 with 69%), and by a central pair Kozamernik and Podrascanin who left no chance untaken at the net.

Below is the scoreboard of the match of the 17th day of the regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24 played this evening at the Opiquad Arena.
