SuperLega, Itas Trentino wins remake of 2023 scudetto Final

Nine months after game 5 of the Play Off Final that handed it the fifth Scudetto in its history, the classic match against Cucine Lube Civitanova gave Itas Trentino another happy evening. At the IlT quotidiano Arena today, the Italian Champions legitimised the value of their first place in the standings, overcoming the Marche team 3-1 at the end of a spectacular match, watched in the stands by over three thousand three hundred spectators and valid for the nineteenth round of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24.
The three-point success brings the team even closer to clinching first place in the regular season (just one point is missing to make it official) and confirms the great moment of Soli's team, which was very good at imposing its law against one of the most in-form teams of the moment. The match was literally lit up in the final of the first set (which was clearly dominated by Trento, who nevertheless brought it home) and then continued on the edge of the tight battle in the other three partials. Itas Trentino got the better of it because they could count on 59 points scored by the high-ball trio Michieletto (mvp and best scorer with 58%), Lavia and Rychlicki, who were fundamental with their flashes when the match was in the balance. On the other hand, Lube's attack (often controlled by Podrascanin's blocks, 5) went too much in alternating current, as did the serve.
