Perugia, Soli: "We could have been a little more precise"

"It was the match we expected, against the strongest opponent we can meet, probably not only in Italy but also in Europe - Itas Trentino coach Fabio Soli commented at the end of the match - . We had therefore budgeted to suffer, but we showed that we could hold up well to this remarkable test, staying on the same level as Sir Susa Vim for a long time. We could have been a little more precise and handled some simple game situations better, but I am convinced that everything we did tonight will be useful for the future, hoping to meet Perugia again on our path, because it will mean that we will be playing something really important".
Itas Trentino will return to Trento during the night and from Tuesday morning they will start preparing for their next appointment, scheduled for Thursday February 29th  at the ilT quotidiano Arena against the German Berlin Recycling Volleys for the return match of the quarter-finals of the 2024 CEV Champions League. In SuperLega, the closest engagement is Sunday, 3 March, again at home, against Padova for the last day of the regular season.
