Play Off, Wednesday's Final for 3rd place: Champions League pass up for grabs
Today's defeat at the ilT quotidiano Arena in game 5 of the Scudetto Play Off Semi Final will not put an end to Itas Trentino's season-long journey in the Italian championship. Starting from Wednesday, April 17th, the yellow-blue will in fact be engaged in the series against Allianz Milano at the best of five games that will assign the third place and the consequent qualification to the 2025 CEV Champions League. Strengthened by the best placement in the 2023/24 regular season standings, the Gialloblù will play Game 1, Game 3 and the possible Game 5 in front of their home crowd.
The already finalised dates of the matches of the Final for the 3rd place Play Off 2024:
Game 1: Wednesday 17 April, 8.30 pm (at the ilT quotidiano Arena)
Game 2: Saturday, 20 April, 8:30 p.m. (in Milan)
Game 3: Wednesday, April 24, 8:30 p.m. (at the ilT quotidiano Arena)
Possible Game 4: Saturday, April 27, 8:30 p.m. (in Milan)
Possible Game 5: Tuesday, April 30, 8:30 p.m. (ilT quotidiano Arena)
In the last round of the season's Play Off Scudetto for Trentino Volley there will therefore be room for an unprecedented challenge, bearing in mind that Milan has never been faced at this stage of the competition.
