Galati, Soli: "We did not show the best "

“It was a match that turned out to be even more complicated and full of pitfalls than we expected on the eve of the game,” explained Fabio Soli, the coach of Itas Trentino team, at the end of the match. "The result is absolutely the most positive aspect that we take home from Romania also in view of the return match in seven days; the European journey is never smooth, because we constantly have to deal with travel and logistical situations that are not always ideal but that have to be faced in the right way because we want to get to the bottom of this competition.There are many things to review and share together during these four sets because I think the approach to the game was not the best one. We suffered from Galati's way of attacking and its different nature of playing than what we are usually used to. Although we did not show the best lucidity we still managed to get through it thanks to some individual input. We have a lot of work to do because the busy period demands it".
Itas Trentino team will return to Italy on early Thursday afternoon and will only have two days to train for the next appointment, scheduled for Sunday 17th November in Piacenza against the Gas Sales Bluenergy (eighth day of SuperLega - 3:30 pm).
The return match of the 2025CEV Cup knockout phase will be played on Wednesday 30th November at the ilT quotidiano Arena from 8.30 pm (the match is included in the subscription).
